THE continuity of mass rapid transit projects is vital for Gamuda Bhd to retain its highly skilled workforce who are trained to operate tunnel boring machines (TBMs) in difficult and complex underground geological formations, says group managing director Datuk Lin Yun Ling.
Thus, the company is continuing to bid for MRT projects in the region, especially those with tunnelling portions, and is tendering for jobs in Singapore, Vietnam and Australia, Lin tells The Edge in an interview.
