Reason:
MMC Gamuda KVMRT (T) Sdn. Bhd. wishes to announce the implementation of partial road closure during the day and full road closure during the night along Jalan Pahang Barat between 28 June 2023 until 12 July 2023.
The partial road closure during the day will be carried out from 5:00am till 10:00 pm while the full road closure affecting both bounds along the said road will be carried out from 10:00 pm till 5:00 am. This closure is necessary to allow us to facilitate road reinstatement works.
During the day closure, traffic flow will be on a stop/go basis for vehicles heading to either bound. During the night full closure, motorist heading towards Persiaran 65C will need to use the alternative route via Jala Pahang and onto Jalan Pahang Barat near KPJ Tawakal and vice versa. Motorists are advised to be careful and follow directional signage. Please see attached map.
During this period, flagmen from the MRT Project Traffic Team will be stationed at the said location to ensure smooth traffic flow.
