KUALA LUMPUR, 25th November 2019- MMC Gamuda KVMRT (Tunnel) Sdn. Bhd. has made international acclaim again with multiple recognitions recently received from the British Safety Council (BSC). The main contractor of the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit Sungai-Buloh-SerdangPutrajaya Line, MMC Gamuda received the Sword of Honour award for the first time this year following last year’s remarkable feat of having earned a five-star score in the BSC’s Five Star Occupational Health & Safety Audit. Only organisations with a five-star rating qualify, having to earn a minimum score of 92% and above out of 100% first, before standing a chance to run for the ‘best of the best’, Sword of Honour award. Last year was the first time MMC Gamuda scored a five-star in the said audit. Now, not long after, it has made another landmark achievement by being one of only 84 organisations worldwide that has made the cut for the Sword of Honour trophy. Not only that, MMC Gamuda then went on to receive another five-star grading in its subsequent audit term, qualifying it again for next year’s round of rigorous evaluation for the Sword of Honour win.
